About Us

We're El Super Burrito & Lupita's and we've been a local Mexican restaurant here in Cedar Rapids, IA, since 2004. We're the home of the original Burrito Ahogado and we offer freshly prepared carne asada, pastor, gorditas, and more! We started this business to provide the local community with authentic flavors and foods from Mexico. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Cedar Rapids and the surrounding areas. We'd like to personally invite you to stop in today for tantalizing tamales, piled-high nachos, or to try our fiery burrito bombero, if you dare.

The food and people here were absolutely amazing. I had the best torta I’ve ever had, and I’ve had tortas from all over the country. Their burritos are great! Their Tres Leches is great! Their flan is great! It’s all great! The service was great too! Very polite and helpful. This place is a hidden gem. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Cannot recommend this place enough. Just an amazing little spot.
