Cedar Rapids best kept secret is El Super Burrito. When my brother comes back from out of town this is always always always the first stop right from the airport. Always fresh food & lots of cold cervezas/soda pops in the fridge. Legit the only place in CR I’ve found where dad can still order a lengua burrito! Don’t be shy with that bottle of green sauce on the table.

My experience at El Super was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere by the owner. The staff was friendly, making me feel right at home.
The food was the true highlight. Every dish was prepared with care and packed with authentic, vibrant flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Menudo and the Torta Cubana, Just reminds me how my abuelita cooked for me as a child. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was clasic.
The entire experience, from the delicious food to the wonderful service, made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend El Super to anyone looking for a top-notch Mexican meal and a great time!
PS. Pay attention to the white board, check for the Turkish/Lebanese food or drinks the owner is serving for the day, def a must try!
